Rachel Thieves is Coming For You

When Labour got to power in 2024, Rachel Reeves promised not to raise taxes on working people.

Within days of the election, the Chancellor was floating to the press that they were going to have to break their promise.

And by Autumn, they announced huge tax rises on ordinary people.

A £25 billion National Insurance Jobs Tax.

More taxes on family homes and farms.

Higher capital gains tax.

But Rachel Reeves promised that would be the end of it – a short, sharp shock to fund Labour’s extravagant spending commitments.

But this year, Annie, they are almost certainly going to raise your taxes again.

Let us know what you think of Rachel Thieves’ plans to raise your taxes here.

Because of Labour’s woefully poor economic mismanagement, inability to cut spending, and worsening UK productivity, our soaring debt repayment bill has reached £677 per household.

And thanks to Labour’s £35 billion Chagos Surrender Deal, the government of Mauritius is able to pay down its debt, cut income tax and slash VAT – while we foot the bill.

While families are hammered with higher water bills, Labour’s plan is more bureaucracy, replacing Ofwat instead of working to bring water bills down.

And after Labour promised to cut energy bills by £300 during the election, we've seen energy bills rise by £152 per year.

Rachel Thieves is taking more of your money. And using it to pay for her inability to handle the economy. Let us know if you agree.

The total cost of Rachel Thieves, Annie?

After a year of huge tax rises on workers and businesses, and ballooning government spending, Labour have actually cost British households over £1,700.

In just 12 months, Rachel Thieves has taken a wrecking ball to the economy.

If you’re outraged too, tell us your thoughts about Rachel Thieves’ plans to raise your taxes.
