We have been asked to promote this free online event this Thursday 18th March at 6pm promoting a book called Ayes and Ears: A Survivor’s Guide to Westminster by Sir David Amess MP.
I have published a book called Ayes and Ears: A Survivor’s Guide to Westminster where I review the major scandals and events during my time in Parliament and reveal the inner workings of Britain’s most important institution.
All royalties from the book are being split between three charities close to my heart:
- The Music Man Project, run by the inspirational David Stanley, teaches music to people with learning difficulties and has staged performances at the London Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall.
- Prost8, a local charity aiming to promote early detection and treatment of prostate cancer.
- Endometriosis UK, which provides support and guidance for women suffering from this debilitating condition.
On Thursday 18th March at 6pm I am holding an event where two Devon and Cornwall MPs, Sir Gary Streeter and Sheryll Murray, will be interviewing me about the book. On the evening, there will be a live chat where I will be answering questions. The event will be taking place live on YouTube and is free to watch. I would be grateful if you would circulate the details to your members, please find the link below:
With all best wishes,
